The house
Just across the courtyard from La Maison des Sarrasins, La Maison d'amis — the friends’ house — is a stone house in the heart of the village of Beynac, in the Dordogne. It promises a calm and restful stay.
With its two bedrooms, bathroom and equipped kitchen, this cottage is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the essentials. Family or friends, you will find everything you need for a stay between nature and history.
Inside
On the ground floor, within the stone walls, the living area brings together the equipped kitchen and the dining table. There is also a games room with table football and billiards, and shelves of books and board games.
Upstairs are two bedrooms for two: one with a double bed that converts to twins, the other with a double bed. They share a bathroom with shower and WC. The staircase leading up has a low ceiling.
Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided.
Pool and garden
Guests of La Maison d'amis have access to the 27-metre pool of La Maison des Sarrasins, shared with the other guests of the estate, and to its exceptional view over the Dordogne valley.
The large garden of the estate, at the foot of the castle cliff, is also yours to enjoy.
Access and parking
Designated parking is available for our guests. The car park is 650 metres from La Maison d'amis, a 10 to 15-minute walk. You can charge your electric vehicle at a rate of €20 per charge (€10 for a hybrid vehicle).
Access to the estate, through the narrow lanes of the village, is complicated: please study it before you arrive. If you cannot carry your luggage through the lanes, a paid valet service, to be booked in advance, will meet you at the car park.
